What a relief! Harry isn't dead (yet)!

Yes! (or Alas!) after several months from my last post (April 22nd) I'm posting again to say:
I am not dead yet. It's true that I'm going through the toughest, most difficult phase of my life, but I'm trying as to keep calm and bite my upper (even though it's usually the lower) lip hard and keep going. No, I am not going to post a "Keep calm and..." poster, even though I have made one in the past. You're safe for now.
So, what happened during those months, you say? (bear with me, these are not going to be in order)

I've (at last) made a PDF folio. I think I'm kinda proud of it for now. Behold:

I made a Facebook Page for my work. You can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/HarryAsaphSaxonART

If you have a Facebook account please Like and share if you like my work even a bit.

I haz more business cards now!
(in case you want some to give to people, drop me a line)

My colouring work was featured in Fuctart online magazine. I am grateful they asked to feature me, but I spent some time making the pages I sent them and they just cropped and used some images without credits. Bit cross with that. Feel free to register and download the latest issue (#18) here: http://www.fuctart.gr/en/component/content/article/1-issues/138-fuctart-issue-18.html

I have started therapy. It's for my transition and also mending some very deep wounds my soul has, so, either way, helpful. I'm trying to become a better person, a one that doesn't break down that easily and, lately, this happened a lot, so, work in progress there.
Anyway, I shouldn't write these things, but it's an artist's blog and my personal blog, so yes, why not.

I have made a mastectomy fund. Preparing for the future of my transition. It's very very hard (possibly impossible) as to save money for that now, so if you please have something to spare, I'd be forever grateful. (You can request a sketch if you donate, I'd be happy to make one, or commission me ^^)

I am now 30 years old, my fab girlfriend had her birthday 2 days ago and we’re now almost 1,5 year together. Yay us. Also:
My hair's all salt and pepper now. Mature much?

By the way:
my friend Lu gave me a tie for my birthday, making it officially the 10th tie I have. I am very proud of my tie collection (8 silk ones, 2 synthetic). This tie is the bee’s knees.

Also: my friend Lu took me by the ear and we went to London and then Sheffield to see John Simm perform in Harold Pinter’s Betrayal at The Crucible. I popped my British theatre cherry with my beloved (and utter bloody northern BASTARD) John Simm. I’m happy I lived through that and didn’t melt on the spot. The theatre was great, the play was great (I luv Pinter), John was great, the weather wasn’t that great (bloody soddy sun!) and oh, I met the TARDIS at last. And 2 friends of mine from deviantArt, Jemma and Alice :D we shared a pint and I was so glad to actually meet them.

My friend Sofia got into the Athens school of Graphic Design. I was so glad but I couldn’t express that because I’m a jerk (I was really depressed).

I got acquainted to a kitten I thought was going to be my future cat, but didn’t make it, it was terribly ill. Some people called it Joe, but I wanted to name it Koschei. RIP Kos.

I attended Athens Pride and the first Thess Pride. It’s just Pride, people, not Gay Pride. There.

I made a sketch of the Ninth Doctor and one of the Eleventh Doctor. Here are both of them, hope you like:

That's all for now, I think. Hope I'll update again soon. Take care of yourselves and think a little bit of me. Ta!

New art!

Hello, people that read my blog. I've neglected to do so recently, and I should do it more often, so, I am posting coloring samples :)
Enjoy!

Colors I did for IDW's comic anthology WOMANTHOLOGY: HEROIC. I contributed colouring 10 pages for this comic and 4 others.

"MOOK n ME" Pencils by Eugenia Koumaki, inks by Avgi Kanaki.
Colors by me.
As always: left is what I received, right, what I gave back.

The comic was also featured in the Comicdom Con Athens 2012 exclusive comic anthology WOMANTHOLOGY: HEROIC GREEK DIVISION

Colors I did for IDW's comic anthology WOMANTHOLOGY: HEROIC. I contributed colouring 4 pages for this comic and 10 others.

"And You Will Know Them by the Rake of Their Hats", art by Jolene Houser.
Colors by me.
As always: left is what I received, right, what I gave back.

(IDW's WOMANTHOLOGY is a comics anthology by women creators. I don't identify as a woman, I identify as a man, but I wasn't "out" publicly when I contributed, so, don't ask me gender questions. Thank you.)

The Little Monster That Ate The Village

There once was a little monster that lived in a village in the mountains and didn’t have a heart. He also didn’t have a name. He never had one and he didn’t know how he should be called. People used to call him however they liked, Book, Radio, Shoe, Dog… But the little monster never felt like anything of those names, so he started eating the people calling him names he didn’t like.

“Hello, Book”, said the baker.
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” the baker was eaten.
And the monster grew.

“Hello, Radio”, said the fisherman.
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” the fisherman was eaten.
And the monster grew more.

“Hello, Shoe”, said the sheep-herder.
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” the sheep-herder was eaten.
And the monster grew more and more.

“Hello, Dog”, said the vicar.
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” vicar was eaten.
And the monster grew even more and more and even more.

After every “Hello” there was always a “GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” and soon the monster grew so big that he could see the whole village from above. And then he realized a terrible thing. There was no one else left in the village but the monster himself. All the houses were empty and there was no one to call the monster names he didn’t like. But he was all alone and he still didn’t have a name. He also still had no heart and that made him sad and he cried a lot.

When he couldn’t cry any more he started a journey to the next village. The people there didn’t know him at all.

“Hello, miller”, said the monster.
“Hello… Well you look like a ladder. I shall call you Ladder”
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” the miller was eaten.
And the monster grew.
“Hello, lawyer”, said the monster.
“Hello… Well you look like a radiator. I shall call you Radiator”
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” the lawyer was eaten.
And the monster grew more.

“Hello, fiddler”, said the monster.
“Hello… Well you look like a lamp. I shall call you Lamp”
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” the fiddler was eaten.
And the monster grew even more and more.

“Hello, mayor”, said the monster.
“Hello… Well you look like a chair. I shall call you Chair”
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GRAR!” the mayor was eaten.
And the monster grew even more and more and even more.

The monster has eaten everyone in the new village as well. He was all alone, he still didn’t have a name, still had no heart and that made him sad and he cried again.
This happened to every village he went, until he was too tired and too big, so big that reached the sky. The sky was different, it was cool and clear. The monster liked it but he was still too sad.

“Hello”, said the Moon.
“Hello, Moon”, said the little monster that wasn’t little anymore.
“What is your name?”, said the Moon.
“I don’t have one”, said the monster and made some rain because he teared up.
“I shall call you Friend, then”, said the Moon. “Would you like that?”
The monster thought about it a bit and nodded.
“Why are you crying? Aren’t you happy you have a name now?”, said the Moon. It was a very curious moon.
“I can’t be happy because I don’t have a heart”, said the monster and made more rain.
“I have two hearts, each for every side of me, but I can work with one as well”, said the Moon and gave the monster one heart.

The monster that was now called Friend smiled and the rain stopped.

Saturday Noon Gratuitous Out-of-Context Rubbish Doctor/Master Slash

[...] He stands up and walks towards the other side of the bed, stands in front of him; he looks so tall and The Doctor so small, curled up like that. Even though he’s wearing only his trousers he looks so fierce. He reaches behind The Doctor’s head and tugs at his hair, hard. He tugs more, backwards, making him look at him, his gaze piercing. His voice comes out restrained but strict, tinted unmistakably by anger and a dash of disgust towards The Doctor's reaction.

"Listen here. I just gave you clothes and your own room. I took the pain of PERSONALLY giving you nourishment, when all you’ve been was ungrateful, and I changed you back in your proper age for this regeneration because I genuinely thought you’ve learned your lesson. You DON’T want to prove me wrong, Doctor."

The Master looks at him and tugs harder, while gritting his teeth. He rather feels offended by The Doctor's cowardice and he isn't not willing to stand up with this.

"You are the only other Time Lord in existence. Stop sobbing and act like one. I am giving you the world in a silver platter. All you need to do is trust me. I’ve already shown you I trust you more, haven’t I…?"

He leans closer.

 "HAVEN’T. I?" [...]

Y U GIVE SO MANY FUCKS?!

Sometimes, I wonder why and how do I even manage to stay (relatively) calm and stand my ground, collect my mind and speak my mind but not my heart. And then I remember I am better than this, I have to be collected and restrained, not let every little thing bother me and pretend the big ones don't affect me. I have to be stronger if I want to grow into the person I really want to be, feel proud about myself... I have a long way and I am now easier to break and to break down, gawd knows why. But I am very selfish, very selfish and arrogant and I always take things too seriously when I shouldn't because it's destroying me...

I don't know what I'm suppposed to do. I am too tired, maybe, to think straight. I get disappointed easily, when I clearly shouldn't because I am fucking used to it. I am. But now it matters more because I have more self respect and no tolerance towards people and their opinions, judgement and just mere... presence near me.

I have so many ulterior goals, long term, but all the short term BULLSHIT is just too much. Too much. How do I stay detached and unaffected..? How the fuck do I manage that? I'm afraid I forgot how to. My heart is tainted by emotion.
I hate it.

Ready, Steady.... Whoah, whoah.. WAIT..!!!

I am supposed to move out this Saturday. Going back to the North, to Salonica. This means I must have packed everything and that I only have a change of clothes that I wear til' then and such things, right..?

WRONG! (insert a very specific BBC Sherlock gif here)

I am still working, I still have a bazillion things to do, I crash because my body wants to sleep, I am SO anxious and stressed and, oh, gawd, Harry, why must it always be like this...? Everything at the last time... At least, today, I remembered to eat lunch, which is good, right? 's good, definitely. Yeap.

I won't have internet for days, because the new house doesnt have a landline yet and UGH it's driving me insane! How am I supposed to ...do things without net? Check the news and mails and talk to my girl..?
I am not ok with this. Not at all. Nettached much?

On other news. I got a haircut. This is where you're supposed to clap like mad, come on, standing ovation, people, no mop on my head anymore, I'll upload pics later today, or I won't, ha, hope you like surprises :P

By the way, happy new March and buttfucks and oh we have our 7th Comicdom Con Athens this month, complete with exhibition and bazaar and our 2nd Cosplay Contest (yours truly is a judge again).

TROLOL, I'm gonna die before I see the premiere of the 2nd season of Game Of Thrones (Apr 1st)...

All you do is talk and talk...

"It’s either this or I’ll destroy everything you love. Every single one of them, Doctor. I will parade them in front of you and I will kill them, slowly, in different, imaginative ways. Them AND their families, if they managed to make any families after you left them… And then I’ll stack them here, all the bodies. With name-tags, of course.
Or you’d rather see severed heads..?"

He glanced towards him and scratched his scruff.

"Mmm.. "

He paused for a brief moment.

"Maybe heads, better for identifying and remembering every name…
"

"
Beg, Doctor. You do it so gracefully… Beg and hope and pray for my benevolence. "

"Beg."

Gig

John was a bit bored to sing this night, he knew about the gig since several months ago, it wasn’t like they got to play that often anyway, but he felt moody and bored and his fingers didn’t quite want to move, as the rest of his body and, possibly, his soul. He’d be happier at home with a beer, or several, listening to Joy Division and The Cure, but that’d prolly make his mood worse. Plus, he wasn’t the type that’d ditch his band to go and get wasted; he wasn’t even sufficiently famous for that. Yet, his fingers moved mechanically and the microphone felt superfluous in his hand. He listened to his own voice as from afar and kinda hoped they’d get to finish earlier but, looking at the audience in the club, that started dancing in the meantime, there wasn’t even a chance. So he did his best to sound at least amused and get it over with. He’d need to drink a lot after and forget everything.

He felt almost grateful that they got away with no encore, they usually did some extra songs more, but the bar had gone out of stout, so they let them stop since they couldn’t sell more. John smiled bitterly, they were like sluts, venue managers used them to sell stuff and threw ‘em away when they were not needed any more. He slowly shrugged. At least he got to do something he liked, if it wasn’t for this bloody mood…

He stood leaning at the wall, then paced around a bit staring at his shoes, waiting for the rest of the band to finish with all the socializing and packing, he only had his mike and monitor, hardly cumbersome things to pack, anyway…
Sighed and lit a ciggie, gawd he needed that, threw his head backwards, leaning at a wall, listening to the noise in the background.

John was too preoccupied thinking about his cigarette and swallowing its’ smoke, it going down into his lungs and out again, mesmerized by the sound of music in his internal PA system, tapping his hand on his thigh, 'twas The Beatles now ..the Walrus, goo goo goo joob.. when his ears informed him he was not alone.

"Lend me a fag?"

Bleach

He growled between his teeth, the bleach stung and felt like it was eating through his flesh, but, in the same time he liked it in a weird way. It felt like it was provoking him to be angry and he liked angry, he needed angry, he felt so confused and angry and… powerful and was practically waiting for something or someone to taunt him, craving for release.

He dipped his hands into the water in the sink, still stung. He washed his face and waited, he haven’t kept the box so he’d have to estimate the amount of time it’d take for his hair to be completely different than before, he wouldn’t risk everything looking still like Harold Saxon, even if he was wearing old and tattered clothes now – a blessing he acquired from a VERY short lived friendship – he still looked like him so he needed something drastic.

He stretched his back and waited more, looking angrily at the mirror.

He shoved his head under the faucet and started rinsing maniacally, get rid of that stuff, the sting, off with it, off, he wasn’t going to be waiting any more, that ought to be enough, this thing was powerful the damage to his hair color would be considerable by now. He felt so hot and full of energy his hands were almost dry now so did his hair, it felt weird but good, starving though, really starving, he could eat a whole…

Man. In his bathroom. In his public bathroom, anyway, it was HIS regardless. He swiftly turned, there was a muffled sound of joints cracking, vertebrae.

"Why you…!"

He stopped and abruptly changed his tone, no need to be obvious, you are not desperate, Master… You were always more polite with your victims, now, don’t be an animal…

Darker

A nice fanvid with a nice track. Gotta love The Doves. It's a lot darker than other Doctor Who videos, people don't really like exploring those paths.

These days I listen to it a lot. I don't know why. I am drawn to darker things. I don't want to, because I'm stressed and I think quite a lot while working, or while trying to work, a thing that always leads to the inevitable bad bad thoughts that ruin you and your day.
And then I choose songs like this to pick me up.

And, yeah, people say I look like Gerard Way. I dunno, I only see the hair color.

A wolf and a maiden in a lake

He looked at her sadly, a spark of rage about unresolved issues with the world gleaming in his stare.
"The world, my lady, doesn't take kindly to dreamers. Nor treats people as it should. No matter how..."
He paused and looked at her affectionately, trying to be less offensive, as he genuinely knew she was not at fault for the ways of the world.
"..beautiful you start... you are not to be treated in equally beautiful ways. I know that. I feel that."
He stroked the scars on his arm.

"Every day, I really do. And I have to constantly remind myself of my place. Your ways are kind, madame, you were raised as a person, you have compassion. I was raised as an animal and as an animal I struggle... Yet, you'd rather touch an animal and help him bathe..? As far as animal dreams go, this is sure the rarest and most wonderful in its' unpredictability..."

This is the longest he'd spoken in months. He nodded faintly and offered his hands to her.

Simm Sunday!

Because yesterday I was boring as fuck and I also posted lots of my ugly face, I have to compensate by posting attractive northern grimness :P

Ok, not the beautiful crying and angst, maybe...

Have I told you how much I appreciate coats? I do and the BBC has been awful so far, providing me with British coats to drool enough for ages...

Not my sketch, but it's TOTALLY me. Just throw a coat at me and you'll see.

Somber Saturday

I am alone at home. Peace at last. But I have no one to talk to. My gf that lives in the US has no internet, because of snowstorms an ice or something, I haven't talked to her since yesterday. I've just watched Doctor Who - The End Of Time - for what must have been like the 1000th time - and having too many things to do, I feel a bit frustrated.
Today I signed I dunno how many petitions, about SOPA, PIPA, ACTA, the Swedish transgender sterilization thing (well, actually,  I signed that days ago but I was re-reading and linking people), watched Anonymous videos...

I feel so so sad about the world. And I also feel sad about my inability to cope with all that. All those nonsense and whatnot.
I may be a weird person and a twat, but what I actually want the most, what'd make my day, month and years, would be to have a job, a tiny flat and a fiancee/wife. My little girl. A quiet little life, maybe slightly tinted by my palette that's usually slightly leaning towards megalomania and illusions of grandeur/inferiority complex.

Nodding off on the couch while I work or read. Maybe a cat (she likes dogs as pets more, but I want their stinking breath away from my face, if possible, if she wants a dog she has to, like, have it somewhere where I can't smell it:P) The whole domestic-"oh, how the mighty have fallen" approach, if you may. I was never a rebel, but I've never actually felt like settling down, you know, oh no, no, I was too young... But now that I actually want to do that... I feel overwhelmed by the world. Too many obstacles in the way. I feel constricted by too many things and the lack of absolute freedom and expression of rights.
Financial difficulties aside (I know, it's tough for all of us, but my country has to deal with public ridicule as well, which is an added extra, nice incentive...) I'm too complicated, or at least my mind makes it like that. I live in Athens, Greece and my girlfriend lives in Missouri, US.

We talk and write and see each other online. We do things together, like listening to audio stories and watching things along. We write stories and send each other pictures.

And when we have internet problems we worry. We worry so much about each other, why's Harry offline? His net must be down.
No. He fainted because he doesn't sleep.
NO! SOMETHING HAPPENED, SOMETHING AWFUL, LIKE AN ALL-OUT ATTACK ON ALL THINGS ELECTRIC AND IT'S GREEK REVOLUTION 2012 AND OH MY GALLIFREY, crazy things, really.
Chopping off internet liberties would undoubtedly wound my relationship. It wouldn't cripple it, but we'd both feel wounded, for sure. And if the internet won't let us communicate for this reason or another, we'll go Victorian and write letters, letters a bit difficult to read because of all the tears they'd be soaked with :P

( From Kate Beaton's Hark A Vagrant)

At some point, I'm going to have to start transitioning, something that, here in Greece, is a bit difficult. I can't change my name that easily. I have to undergo hysterectomy, like those Swedish blokes. Only then I stop being a woman, legally. Amusing!

I don't know how it is to transition in other countries. I don't know if I'd even have the right to do it, like in Sweden, you have to be a Swedish citizen to be allowed to transition there... If I suppose can't transition in the US because of me not being a citizen, then I'll have to acquire citizenship somehow, right?
The easiest way to do that is to get married to a US citizen (don't cheat, you have to actually love them and not a white wedding :P). I can't do that that easily, except in some states of the US, because, guess what, I am still a female legally. Bahaha, marvelous!!!

And then I'd be a stranger in a strange land, having to face:
a) the scorn of being an immigrant/expatriate/foreigner/European/Mediterranean/"weird accent you got there",

b) the oh so subtle mockery of people full of tact, targeting me and my complicated gender issues (of course, not everyone is a jerk, I'm only exaggerating to make a point) and,
c) being a new person on new uncharted to them land, having to find a new job making new acquaintances.

I don't mind the third. It's to be expected and with a job like mine, well, a bit easier. But a) and b)... I wouldn't want my girlfriend having to deal with all that shit. No way. But I can't avoid it. Because people are rude, basically. You never get to be treated equally, whatever your story is. Meh. Ain't I all sunshine today..? Such a cutie...

Anyway, just needed to get things off my chest, I guess. I'd say I'm sorry, but it's MY blog, so, if you feel rather poorly about it, piss off. And no, today I'm not the most eloquent and kind person.

(YES, that's a Chameleon Arch on my tiny tree, which is a Christmas leftover. Hush.)

My boring arse on black

Done for a meme on tumblr. This is me. I think I'm possibly the most boring person in the world when it comes to the colors I choose to wear, which is utterly surprising, given my occupation... :P
Yes, i wear black all the time, yes I have a black pillow and black sheets (and black blankets and comforters - not shown) and a black keyboard and black screen and black computer.
And burgundy boxer briefs. There.

Merry Christmas and life

Took me almost a year to post something here. I was avoiding it. I think I'm more or less the only person reading this. But I don't care. I am slowly going to be using this blog again... I changed the layout and some things... Now, then.

I have been very busy this last year. Also been unemployed a lot. Learned new things, got to know new people and know some old ones better. Became more social, less social, got acquainted to all sorts of new ways to get depressed, got frustrated over the way things are, the economy, people, my country. It's been a soddy year but also a good one. Some things, I wouldn't change for the world. Met wonderful people, stopped talking to some.. not that wonderful, managed to be able to become a bit happier and control my temper better. I've also grown, got a tattoo and lost some weight :P
Now, to the really juicy part.

Dear friends, acquaintances and people that know me too little, I wish you a merry Christmas.
It’s supposed to be the time when we let kindness guide us and speak our hearts, open up, show we care and other emotional things like that, because it’s Christmas and it’s ok to be emotional during the holidays.

Some of you already know, some maybe suspect that, some/most don’t know and don’t care about this, but I have to say it, because sometimes enough is enough and one can’t and shouldn’t hold things inside for THAT long. Eventually, these things evolve and there’s always a time when things ought to be explained. So this is me explaining.

It’s been too long since I stopped identifying as female. I may haven’t told anyone at first, but it is how it is. Regardless of whether you understand this or not, please, show me the courtesy of calling me by my chosen name, that’s Harry or Victor (mostly Harry), and using male pronouns.
Using my birth name and female pronouns, when you already know this, is considered rude and a bit hurtful. Also, calling me a “tranny” or a “he/she” would result in permanent block/delete and possibly
(or definitely) some rudeness from my side.

If you can’t, please, don’t call me anything. It’s much better and hurts less. But, remember always, I am still the same person that you know, with the same personality, regardless of name and gender. You don’t have to show your extreme support or opposition towards that. You won’t change who I am. Also, I know it’s awkward sometimes. You don’t have to discuss this with me. Maybe the matter will come up during casual conversation or not.

Thank you very much, I hope you all have a great time during the holidays.

PS.
If you're my parents, namely dad, who likes surfing on the internet and checking my sites:
I don't want to talk about this. Maybe I will in the future. Maybe I won't.
Don't ask me to talk about this or translate it, if you find it.
There's nothing you can say that will change my mind. My life and your life will continue as it is and at some point, changes will occur. The signs are all there, you just never saw it this way.

PPS.

I really dislike this blog's name at the moment. I'll prolly have to change blogs at some point. Again....
[EDIT: Fixed that

PPPS.
I am reposting last year's Xmas pic. Yay Greece. Yay train-wrecks.

It's not fair - Merry X

Today, I'm in a vile mood.
Uhm. Maybe not exactly:/

I am not in a mood for anything. No work, no play, no xmas sweets, no films, no nothing.

Feels like going outside to kick cans, like in the movies.
I just want to destroy something beautiful (a-la Jack from Fight Club) but even in that case,
I feel kinda bored. Like nothing has a point, no meaning.
It's like anything of essence has gone off. Like a year-old candy-cane. Or something.

It's SO annoying! Not fair! Everyone is giddy happy and jolly and I'm like MEH!
Being happy for no reason is a tad annoying, no offense to you guys. It's not you, it's me.
I'm a bit peculiar.

Well, have a very merry Christmas.
I'll have myself a Saturday.

Yogi Tea

(01/11/2010. Auto scheduled for 07/11/2010 - testing)

Recently I bought a pack of a beverage called Yogi Tea. It's an ayurvedic tea (tho' I'm not into ayurveda and it's not a tea, because it doesn't have ANY tea inside, it's an infusion :P.
It's of "Classic" flavour, which is described right below that as "Cinnamon Spice". Cinnamon's good, so I bought it. It was worth it. REALLY nice.
But what I found really interesting was that this tea infusion was in a way like fortune cookies.
Every teabag (oh, you pervs:P) had a small phrase in the paper holding the thread of the bag. The phrase was always something good, about ego-boosting, not being too depressed and things that are supposed to be heart-warming and such. And by devilish coincidence, every time I wasn't feeling well and reached for a tea-bag... the phrases were like answers to my thoughts.. REALLY CREEPY.
I don't believe in  fate or thngs like that, fuck you Yogi Tea, you maybe delicious but you're not my.. eh... Sorry, I'm ranting. To a tea packet.

Anyway, these things are meant to be good, right? And may be good for some but, to be honest, they creep me out and usually depress me more. Haha, funny.

I took some photos tho', with my trusty LG Optimus. The first one is my all time fav photo, the best -as a concept- I've ever shot.

(That was actually the answer to the thoughts: "Blargh I am a crappy artist" I must get better but I don't have the potential SIGH" )

My cat was caught sleeping again. On Logan, Steve and Charles.

My cat loves books (and so do I)

It's not the first time Kiriko takes a nap on a book or another printed medium.
I decided to always take photos from now on and post them.

Ten!

I was tagged by Chris to make a list with ten things I love and to also tag 10 people to do this.
I don't know who'd want to do this, or who reads my posts regularly, so I "free tag" whomever would like to do this.

It's a bit difficult for me to list the things I love, I dont know for sure what I love, but I'll try...
No order whatsover.

1. Kiriko

2. Great Britain. I like almost every aspect of their culture, always did, always will. If I lived there I'd be gay (old meaning). And maybe I'd be Tennant or Simm if I was offered the position :P(not a fangirl, I want to be them:P).
[DW fan alert]

3. Japan. Voted by the majority as the nation most likely to be extra terrestrial. If I lived there I'd most prolly be: a) a hikikomori, b)part of a background filling mangaka team or, c) dead.

4. Tea. I could eat tea, dream tea, speak tea, even FUCK tea. Tea is great. Really. True story.

5. Books/comics/manga. I like this papery feeling. Makes my fingers prickly.

6. Making props. I love making things. (also: my job)

7. Cosplay. I am a jerk, I know. The world is full of jerks, face it, I am one of the harmless ones (maybe). But I like this hobby. I also like the friends I've made through that, or the friends that joined me (nakamatachi!).
[If you dont know what cosplay is, its ok. No love lost there.]

8. Snow. White and pure as my heart will never be (or people in general).

9. Madagascarian vanilla.

10. Biting, sucking, eating. Maybe something odd happened in the womb while I was a  tadpole. I like using my mouth to suck my thumb, bite my nails, pencils, bite whatever. Makes me concentrate. I also lick my teeth when I 'm thinking about bad things:P(lame, I know).

Feel free to tag yourselves and friends (I'm cheap haha that's cheating). If you know me in person you can tell me your 10 things when you meet me :)

Adieu for now. Going to kick some aluminum sheets.

Spamming and replying

I was sent an email, stating that I had the opportunity to acquire $9 million from a bank in Burkina Faso if I posed as the next of kin of a client of said bank. BUUUULLSHIIIIT :P
I've seen millions of these spam letters and I was always curious about who answers those and, if they did, what would the answer back be (if any)? Prolly not, but anyways...
So there goes, I was in a stupid mood and send them an email :P

From Mr. Octavio A. Victal.

Dare Friend,

My name is Mr. Octavio A. Victal, I am the credit officer  with African Development Bank of (A.D.B) Ouagadougou Burkina Faso.

I have a business proposal in the tune of ($9 Nine Million Us Dollars) after the successful transfer; we shall share in ratio of 40% for you and 60% for me.
I want to front you in the bank so that you can apply for the claim of fund as the next of kin to our late customer Mr. Steve Moore.
who died years ago with his entire family while on holidays and several attempt has being made to locate his family without success.

You should understand that as an insider in the bank i will do every thing possible to protect your interest and to make sure that i follow things up
as soon as you are willing to work this out with me because i will not want this money to go into the government purse.

Dear Mr Octavio,

I am much saddened to hear about Mr Steve Moore's death, a fact that undoubtedly would have you so shocked after those years.
I can understand your shock and sadness because you spelled "dear" wrong and used punctuation marks in an erroneous way, but that is
purely understandable, since you are grieving for your presumably deceased customer and his family.

What eludes me, kind sir, is the way that I can apply as the next of kin, since I have no apparent connection to the late and unfortunate Mr Moore.
But, in anyway, I think that it's far better than leaving those funds unclaimed
so that the government claims them... I am sure that the Burkina Faso government
has already too many funds, that to take the funds of the dead too.

Another matter is that, by acting as the next of kin I would put myself in danger of committing the crime of false impersonation and fraud.
Thus, I can't imagine myself to sound bold, if requesting to share the aforementioned 9 million US dollars in 60% percent for me and 40% for you,
because the crime will befall on my hands and not yours, kind sir. The authorities will believe I am the culprit and that I deceived you, thus arresting me
and leaving you. I would surely not want to be arrested in Burkina Faso or here in the UK where I reside, because I am a Japanese citizen
but I act as a (4) logistics provider and investigating consultant for the Metropolitan Police, in the department of Scotland Yard.
If I was to be arrested I would undoubtedly be deported back to my country, where rather strict laws apply for persons that commit international
fraud .
That would be really unfortunate if it was to happen.

My name is (1) Quillsh W. Watari and I am greatly sorry that I cannot disclose my (3) residential address and (2) telephone number yet, due to my position in the Metropolitan Police.
And to be honest I cannot fully trust you yet, dear sir. As for the other information, I am (5) 63 years old and I am a male.
But you obviously know all of these because you sent me this email on the sole interest of trusting me,
so I believe you've already done a background check on me to test my integrity and brilliance of mind.
For this I thank you. You flatter me, kind sir, to the bottom of my heart.
Therefore, I will try my best to trust you as well, so that we bring this matter to a full completion and success with utmost confidentiality.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Watari W. Quillsh
